Exactly .. this concept might have other uses as well ...say IPP were used 
for "fax like" applications and there was a IPP Attribute 
"qualdocs_service_mode_supported" for transactions that originated from 
outside domains. If the printer were subject to a spam attack ..not unknown 
on the internet, the Admin could disable the acceptance of IPP Jobs that 
conformed to the supported mode ..but still accept internal print 
operations from users on the Lan.

Just a thought.
