I have received quite a few questions about how media in a manual-feed/multi-purpose (by-pass) tray is reported for media-ready/media-col-ready. I'll add some text about this and the differences in semantics between 'manual-feed' and 'by-pass-tray' - basically, you report media in the by-pass tray in media-ready/media-col-ready but never report media in the manual-feed tray because, by definition, it is not "ready" (you will pause to ask for the requested media...)
