Greetings,

Hewlett-Packard has the following comments on IPP INFRA revision “wd-ippinfra10-20141118.pdf”:

1. Section 1 should include a diagram of not only the IPP General Model but also the newer model being defined in the specification. Section 4 has diagrams, so maybe those should be referenced in section 1. Or maybe the diagram in section 1 should be moved to section 4 so that they are all together. But having the original model without an adjacent representation of the model defined by the specification can confuse new readers. The specification should be more approachable.

2. Section 3.2.1, page 15, line 416 says "The Client sends a print job request to the Printer". Shouldn't "Printer" be "Infrastructure Printer"? The use cases need to have their terminology checked, because there seems to be some places where “Printer” is used that should rather be “Infrastructure Printer”. There are a number of others on page 15.

Both of these seem editorial in nature.

Cheers!

Smith
