[MFD] Scope of pages element

[MFD] Scope of pages element

Ira,
I do not believe so since pages refers to logical pages. JPS3 describes pages as both input and output pages where an Input-Page is a sequence of bytes that describe how to mark a single Output-Page. Since pages count the logical pages they are free from the impression/image specifics of the output side of a service. The term "mark" is a bit print specific but if a more generic term like "generate" is used I believe the definition still holds together.

Hi Pete,

I agree too.

Does putting them into the base Imaging Service classes cause issues like impressions versus images for counters?

Cheers,
