The referenced article, at
http://www.nwfusion.com/archive/2000/93009_05-29-2000.html?nf, is
tantalizingly short and lacking in details, but it sure sounds like it
addresses the same issues that have taken up much time in P1212 and the
1394 PWG. It may be worth a closer look...
