NCITS Technical Committee T10 today approved a project proposal for new
work to enhance and extend Serial Bus Protocol (SBP). The proposal is
available at ftp://ftp.t10.org/t10/document.00/00-388r0.pdf.
The first meeting for the SBP-3 working group will be an ad hoc meeting
Wednesday and Thursday, January 24 - 25, 2001 at the Outrigger Waikoloa
Beach on the big island of Hawaii. I will be posting information on hotel
reservations soon.
We plan to establish an EMail reflector dedicated to SBP-3 matters. The
reflector will be open to all interested subscribers. Until this reflector
is established, I will make administrative announcements on the following
reflectors:
