I have just posted an initial Alert XML Schema v0.10, which validates
without warnings using XML SPY 2004, XRay 2.0, and XSV 2.5 (the free XML
Schema Validator) and is posted at:

This schema defines both the Alert object (delivered by WIMS SendAlert
operation) and Subscription object (created by WIMS SubscribeForEvents).
This schema imports (and depends on) Schedule, Events, and Resource
schemas, for various elements.
This schema includes all elements defined in the (work-in-progress) IPP
Notifications spec, except for the Subscription lease elements - WIMS
Subscriptions don't support leases, which are computationally intensive.
