Oki Data has reviewed the Command Set Format for IEEE 1284 Device ID spec
and has no comment beyond
1) Jerry's questions on the need for identifying variation of PDL versions
and PDL vs. emulation, and
2) the issues on the need for registering additional interpreter types
that already raised on the email thread.
