Anyone,

It has been a long time since I have been able to access the ftp site. I
always figured there was something wrong on my side. Today I checked it out
and can find nothing wrong on my side. I confirmed that access is not being
blocked by our firewall. I have tried to connect with multiple browsers and
with the WS_FTP program using anonymous access, but I always get connection
timed out. Is anyone else having trouble or does anyone have any
suggestions?

Per my action item from the Portland meeting, I've put together a
document that
1) Proposes a simplified means of content negotiation whereby the
transfer
of Conneg would be optional
2) Provides a detailed summary of UIF Profile requirements and how
they
differ from TIFF-FX profiles

I propose that we add the contents of this document to the UIF
specification.
