In light of the information received on the PMP list over the last few
hours, I'd like to join the growing list of folks coming out in favor
of Tom's most recent proposal.

What really changed my mind on this issue was the information from
Randy Presuhn on the sysappl MIB effort with regard to UTF-8 et al.
Very, very enlightening.

I would also like to ask that anyone (including the PMP chairpersons)
having related information on any PMP issue to please post such
information as quickly as possible to the PMP list.
