Jim, the CSS Print Profile document looks good.
One question: 8.5.2 bullet 2 says "The rendering of the hr element is
implementation dependent." This appears to be new. What was the
discussion that led to this point? How is this different than the
statement in 8.5.1?

Technical Architecture Group (TAG) Update
The mission of the W3C Technical Architecture Group (TAG) is
stewardship of the Web architecture. Per section 1.4 ([187]Technical
Architecture Group) of the [188]W3C Process Document, the TAG should
send a summary of each of its meetings to the Advisory Committee. The
group's [189]home page has information about the TAG. There were no

Preparing Press Releases With W3C
It is important that any public information relating to the Consortium
is accurate and consistent. We require that any press release by
Members mentioning the W3C (or the host sites MIT, INRIA and Keio) be
authorized by W3C's Communications Team. Press releases (in whole or
relevant part) should be addressed by email to [225]w3t-pr@w3.org . We
will endeavor to respond within two working days if not more rapidly.

Submitting Proposals to W3C
W3C Member organizations have the opportunity to formally submit
technical proposals, action plans, etc. The required steps are
outlined in the [226]current W3C Process. Note that part of the
Process states:

Prior to acknowledgment, the Submitter must not, under any
circumstances, refer to a document as "submitted to the World Wide
Web Consortium" or "under consideration by W3C" or any similar
phrase either in public or Member communication. The Submitter must

(with the Submitter) on the material in the Submission request.
