Opcodes registered here are outside of IANA control and are in the range of positive integers, from 0x4000 to 0xFFFF. A specific opcode may be requested, but it is not guaranteed that the opcode may be allocated. Best attempt will be made on a first come, first serve basis.

It is highly recommended that the functionally represented by the requested opcode be presented to the PWG for inclusion in the official specification, before requesting the allocation of a proprietary opcode.
