[PWG-Announce] PWG Formal Vote of IPP Scan Service Passed

All,

The PWG Formal Vote of the IPP Scan Service specification has concluded with 16 votes (12 yes, 4 abstain, 0 no) and the PWG Steering Committee has approved the process used for the vote.

Per PWG Process/3.0, the IPP Scan Service specification has met the requirements for approval:

- Votes by at least 25% of eligible voting members (25% of 31 is 8, there were 16 votes collected)
- YES votes by at least 66% of votes (not including abstentions) when there is no Strong Opposition (66% of 12 is 8, there were 12 YES votes)
- YES votes by at least 80% of votes (not including abstentions) when there is Strong Opposition (not applicable since there were 0 NO votes with strong objection)
- At least 50% of votes (including abstentions) to be YES (50% of 16 is 8, there were 12 YES votes)
