Subject: Future of PWG IDS Working Group
One of the problems that has been discussed in SC meetings for a while is that the IDS WG needs to revitalize itself. The SC thinks that the current IDS membership ought to be included in this discussion so that if there are tasks or areas the group chooses to take on, it can list those in an updated charter and proceed with that work.
To that end, the May PWG Virtual Face-to-Face Meetings will be held next week on Monday - Wednesday, May 5-7,2025. There will be an IDS Session as part of those meetings from 10A - 12N on Wednedday, May 7th. A large part of that IDS Session will be an open discussion on the future of the IDS WG and what track that future should take.
