I reckon it is... Geoff... but what's that got to do with .doc?

I may be misinterpreting. If you are talking about printing from an
application (whether it be a wordprocessor, spreadsheet or the like) to a
URL... yes... this can be made to work with provisions for an IPP client on
the host platform. The level of integration (with applications) will be up
to each client provider. Best integration will come as the OS's themselves
decide to integrate IPP.

Hmmm... I'd assumed that IPP was like using a printer on a very long LAN.
