Yes, lets get rid of coating for the 'stationery-inkjet' media type.  That
is just one way.

Many inkjet papers don't have a coating at all, right?  I hate to
quibble, but how about:

  stationery-inkjet
  Separately cut sheets of an opaque material that can be printed on
  both sides and is designed to minimize the spread of liquid inks
                    ^^^^ could also be "coated"

This makes it truly generic with regards to coating - the glossy and
matte types can be used to specify a particular finish.
