Hi Rick,
Small clarification.
In IPP, Semantic Model, WIMS, and the Counter MIB, we changed the
property name 'XxxDescription' to 'XxxInfo' (e.g., 'printer-info' in IPP),
because there's an IPP and WIMS/SM group of properties called the
Description Group (as opposed to Status Group and some others)
within the PrintService object and the name conflation was confusing.
You might want to follow this more modern PWG practice for your
property name - keeping XxxDefinition for your XML template is fine.
Cheers,

Subject: PDM> New property_template_093_20070425.xml
I uploaded a revised property template file to the FTP site.
HYPERLINK "ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/BOFs/pdm/Objects/property_template_093_20070425.xml"ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/BOFs/pdm/Objects/property_template_093_20070425.xml
In this, I changed the tag for the property <Description> element to <Defintion>. I hope that this makes the intended purpose clearer. The use of the word "description" for both the XML element and the name of a property was confusing.
Also, I added a few words to clarify, I hope, some of the other elements. And I changed the file type to XML.
Talk to you Monday.
