The relationship between the Alert Table and hrPrinterDetectedErrorState

Jay,

For Lexmark, if a printer can not print, then it is considered offline. If
there is paper jam then printer is offline, if it needs paper then it is
offline, if someone is in the menus then it is offline. Other objects in
hrPrinterDetectedErrorState may expand on offline, so out of paper and jammed
are two examples. All of these events are reflected in the alert table. So
both the jam and the offline will be in the table. Other information will also
be in the table such as file deleted, paper size changed, and tray capacity
changed.

Offline is the key; if it is set then there is a good possiblity that something
else is wrong.
