In the process of aligning more closely to the Semantic Model we have adjusted our data types and element and attribute names accordingly.

Main concept:
- refer to PWG and Media data types where possible. And we do that a lot now.
Status: most of it done. some discussion about finishings.
- use the PWG and Media data types as the base and extend them where necessary. reasons are for example that we allow for proprietary entries in some cases (you'll find an additional 'xsd:string' in the corresponding union) and we list an additional entry sometimes to represent the device setting.
Status: most of it done.

The current schemas and instances already reflect that.
