As we discussed at the face to face in Boston, the PWG Process Document includes
a section dealing with intellectual property. That document is available from:

http://www.pwg.org/chair/pwg-process-991021.pdf

The relevant section is clause 8.

It is important for you to review the above, especially if you believe you or
your company owns intellectual property with essential claims to any of the
XHTML-Print technology. As soon as possible, please identify to me any
essential claims you or your company may have in this area and if you will make
that property available under "Royalty Free" or "Reasonable and
Non-discriminatory" terms. The absolute deadline based upon our current
schedule will be in 3Q2002; more precisely when the document is submitted to the
PWG steering committee for approval as a Proposed Standard. In any case, the
sooner this information is made available the better.

Remember, this applies to all Participants not just Members (from clause 8.1):

"Participants in the standard setting procedure shall disclose any known patents
whose use would be required for compliance with a proposed PWG standard. Prior
to PWG's approval of the proposed standard, the PWG should receive a written
patent statement from the patent holder as described below in section 8.3."
