Hi Hugo,

Yes, I meant that both IPP and HTTP protocol elements
would ONLY transmit 'http:' URL over-the-wire. The
only work for (future Internet standards-based) printers
would be to advertise an 'ipp:' URL in SLP, LDAP, NDS,
ADS, DNS, or other directory services, for ease of
service location by clients.

The protocol work for clients would be to translate
to/from 'ipp:' URL for presentation to end-users
(from 'http:' URL in over-the-wire packets); and
to perform service location by searching for
'ipp:' or 'printer:' (SLPv2 or LDAPv3 or others?)
URL for printer systems.
