All,

I just looked around on the web and found some interesting information about
the next generation of mobile phones.

A telephone industry consortium has defined a new protocol called the
Wireless Application Protocol (WAP).

Their web site is at:

http://www.wapforum.org/

Nokia and Ericsson have started showing prototypes for WAP devices, which
are expected to hit the market sometime next year. They will look like a
hybrid between current phones and Palm Pilots.

You can read an article about Nokia's WAP box in this month's issue of Wired
magazine.

If you look up the following link on the web, you will find a picture of the
Ericsson version.

This might be yet another protocol that we should take a look at for our IPP
Notification delivery.
