    Note carefully:

    I wrote PLP/LPRng exactly to solve this problem.

    If you want, you can even throw away your BSD based printing
    system and use it.

    Just because you do not want to update to new RFC1179 software is no
    excuse to whine and whimper.

    Oh, yes... it is Open Source... and there is also support available
    through Astart.com.

    Umm... the first version that solved this problem was done in
    1984 (PLP)...
