Admittedly a naive question... but, to what degree is an "RFC editor" involved
when the submission is informational? I don't live on the edge of my seat
waiting for each new RFC (just the Job and Printer MIBs!), but didn't I see one
or two rather "cute" one's issue lately? I presume these wee part of the
backlog?

Subject: JMP> Status of Job Monitoring MIB
Chris checked with the RFC editor to determine the status of
the Job Monitoring MIB. The answer she got back was that there
is a significant backlog in the editor's shop. It is taken
much longer than usual to publish RFC's.
