IBM is definitely interested in a Job MIB interop test. The 2 month tim=
e frame
is OK with us. We would need some time to determine how to test such a =
dynamic
environment, anyway. One thing I think we might want to do is arrange i=
t as an
interoperability demonstration rather than a full compliance test. In t=
his
context, we would be willing to supply a version of our NT Port monitor=
using
the Job MIB as a client that would interoperate with anyone's printer. =
However,
we would emphasize, our client would not be considered a compliance tes=
t
tool.

Gee, it's awfully quiet out there. Who expressed interest in an interop=

test? Speaking for the Xerox Channels Group, we do not have anything re=
ady
for an interop test in the next couple of months.

Thanks,
Angelo

There has been some interest in a Job Monitoring MIB interoperability
test. Please respond if you have an interest and when will you be read=
y
to test.
