Unsolicited status is sort of supported in Windows 2000. The SBP2 layer will
read the unsolicited status from the 1394 bus. However there is currently no
mechanism to get that status to a higher driver stack. This is how it will
be for the Windows 2000 release.

However MS is committed to getting 1394 into intelligent peripherals, so we
will define an interface to allow this in a later release. As we define the
PWG 1394 command set we can assume that the use of unsolicited status will
be possible to allow target initiated data transfers.
