I am very pleased to report that the IEEE-SA Standards Board has approved P1212 as a new standard. Thanks to everyone for all of your hard work over the last 3+ years.

Peter and I will work with the IEEE editors to publish the specification as soon as possible.

Our final step will be to bring 1212 to the ISO/IEC as a revision of ISO/IEC 13213:1994. We have already begun this process, and hope the effort will proceed quickly. Stay tuned!

    Brian
