The new PDM FTP site directory structure:
top = ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/pdm
Please change your bookmarks and other pointers to this new root
directory.
Directories within pdm and their contents:
charter as it says, the charter document
minutes as it says, minutes of meetings
objects technical descriptions of objects: groups, tables,
properties
related other related standards and documents
schemas the web service schemata, when we develop them
slides presentation slides
wd working documents other than the objects and schemas
white white papers, membership, FAQs, and similar docs
Please take a few minutes to browse the new structure and become
familiar with what documents are in what directory.
Also, there will, in the very near future, be some slight changes in
document naming. For instance, PWG has requested that we use hyphens
rather than underscores in filenames, because they are more visible if
the name is underlined by a browser.
For instance, here are pointers to the new documents this week. Note
that they are all in the new directory structure (but not yet in the new
naming convention).
