Hi Don,
Yes, I agree that a telecon would be a good idea.  But people
need to bring fact and actual implementation experience and
feedback (in non-US, non-English environments) to the discussion,
not dubious speculation like "99% of all printer names are ASCII",
which is of course only true in North America (and only true OFF
the mainframes in North America).
