    Hi folks,

As we discussed briefly on Tuesday, our recommendation, until
IANA gives us an official "registered port" (greater than 1024),
is to use "ephemeral port" 55559 as the interim psi-port for
our prototyping and early testing (see section 5.1.1 of the spec
    that Dave Hall just posted).

I just pulled down a current copy of the IANA Port Registry
    and found:

    lrs-paging 3700/tcp LRS NetPage
    lrs-paging 3700/udp LRS NetPage
    # Geoffrey Wossum <geoffrey@pager.net> February 2003

    Cheers,

PS - An "ephemeral" or "dynamic" port is one greater than
49151. Such ports are used (for example) for the data
transfer port for FTP (the control port MUST be 21).
No one can reliably use an "ephemeral" port long-term.
