Specification Review (Intent is that last call scheduled for January 2004.) Review of 11/26/2003 draft. (changes will be reflected in the last call document) General Editorial: Tables and Figures need to be identified and listed. (i.e. need table of figures etc.) Section 5 Reminder: Namespace must be finally defined with CS approval date. Section 5.1 (Removed PSI Service Root URL that mentioned UPnP 2.0) ToDo: Need a Reference added to WSIL. Discussed the moving of the Method conformance requirements to a separate conformance section. (decided to add a cross reference at the beginning of each interface description that points to the conformance section to remind the reader) Also a note in the front of the specification about the conformance section. Section 5.4 (5.4.3) Fixed URL identifiers in figures. Added example of a targetDeviceIdentifier filter and clarified the use of wildcard in the filter. Todo: Parameter support(requirement) tables are not completed throughout all sections of the specification. Section 5.5.8 (Epson issue 1) Improve description and add XML frag. example for the jobFilterElements parameter. (see updated specification) Section 5.5.12 Added documentFilterElements examples. (see update specification) Section 5.5.16-18 (Epson issue 3) Discussed the issue of multi-file input documents (i.e., zip files) and how they are retrieved after "transformation" (currently the output of a multi-file tranformed zip file or email reference is a single stream) (no resolution as of now, post PSI 1.0) Section 5.5.9 (Epson issue 2) Discussed the issue that the PSI client must poll a PSI server for pulling of document data. Decided to add a return parameter (callbackInterval) to GetJobs, GetJobElements and GetDocumentElements that indicates a "suggested" time to check back if the document/job data is not available yet. (see updated specification for details) Section 5.6.2, 5.6.4 Added callbackInterval to FetchNextJob, FetchNextDocumentByPull, and FetchNextDocumentByValue to alleviate the polling traffic. (Epson issue 2) Section 7.2.3 Target Device Identifiers that use pwg-unc need to use the smb instead. (see updated specification) Remove pwg-unc.... Section 8.1.1 Editorial todo: clean undefined and broken references (throughout spec.) Section 8.9 Added statement about the max allowed value of the callbackInterval as it relates to the hold time of the job/document data on the Print Service. (i.e., callbackInterval can't be larger than half the data's hold time) *************************** End of Specification Review *************************** VIII. Next Steps a.
