In light of the teleconference last Wednesday, I do not believe it
is necessary to add this information to the MIB. In both cases this
information can be obtained using existing protocols.
It also seems that the four proposals by Scott Isaacson fall into
this same category. NetWare PServer and RPrinter certainly obtain
the information presented using SAP and NCP protocols. I am not
sure of the situation with SPX and NDPS.
Comments anyone? Do we need to discuss this further in New Orleans?
