This meeting is only a Printer MIB Working Group meeting. It is not
associated with the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) BOF meeting.
It is also not associated with any Job MIB work. Our Printer MIB
working group is a little different than most IETF working groups.
We meet once a month and handle issues where the standard IETF
working group only meets three times a year when the entire IETF
gets together. Chris and I both think that since we are now an active
IETF working group that we should have a standard type meeting along
with the other IETF working group meetings. This meeting will not
replace any of the monthly Printer MIB meetings that are currently
scheduled. We will handle this meeting as an additional Printer
MIB meeting. However we may have to review all of the items again
in Albuquerque in January because I am not sure of the attendance
we will have at the San Jose meeting.
The agenda items that are currently under consideration for the December
meeting are:
- Results from December 3 - 5 Interoperability testing.
- Implementation Experience Matrix review
- Issues that have arisen from the Internet Draft that Randy
distributes to the IETF.
- Other items that arise in the progression of RFC 1759 from Proposed
Standard to Draft Standard.
