As many of you know, Sandra Matts has recently resigned as Chair of the UPDF
Work Group. While she plans to continue to work on the UPDF effort, her current
job assignment at HP does not lend itself to her continuing as Chair. In the
interim, Norbert Schade from Oak has agreed to lead the font effort currently
underway within the UPDF but cannot assume the role of Chair on a permanent
basis.
Anyone with an interest in the UPDF effort and with an interest in leading an
industry standards effort (a nice addition to a list of career accomplishments),
please contact me.
