I worked in two areas: print media handling and general cleaning.
1. Print media handling
Another major step to finish it soon.
Fully implemented features: copy, collation, orientation, size, type, source, destination, coating, color, weight, jogging, nup stuff, page order. That does not mean it will not change. So have it checked, whether it is ok with you.
The mother sample is growing accordingly.
To be worked on: stapling on punching stuff, duplex, booklet, zooming.
2. General cleaning in 'UPDF.dtd'
I removed the scan and fax capabilities, as we will not get to mfp descriptions soon.
I removed the historic locale stuff, as we support it differently with separate locale and device configuration files in the meantime.
I have removed the historic 'Global' stuff, but kept some features we have to work on anyhow as reminders under 'Features'. As you can see by these changes, we move our attention slowly to color and color related stuff. Although we have talked much about user interface recommendations within a UPDF file, I leave the stuff in as reminders.
I did this cleaning mainly to help people working on a sample driver implementation that they see a structure, which is more contemporary.
