Subject: RE: WBMM> Next call Wed 1 Oct - WBMM Conference Minutes

    Hi,

Note that the next TWO weekly WBMM meetings are CANCELLED.

As Harry indicated below, the next WBMM meeting will be on
    Wed 1 October - 9-10am PDT / 12-1pm EDT.

I got a clean compile on my prototype Schedule XML schema last
night - closely based on the IETF Schedule MIB, RFC 3231 (from
    the IETF Distributed Management WG).

As we discussed yesterday, I renamed the scheduled operations
Activate/Deactivate (from IPP System Admin) to the more obvious
    names ResumeAndEnable/PauseAndDisable (compound operations to
stop/start both input and output from a managed service and
    avoid race conditions).

I'm adding more references and comments to the Schedule schema
and will post by sometime next week. I'll also look at writing
protocol spec descriptions for the primary operations, in the
style of the current PSI spec.

I also plan to look into writing Report and Alert schemas
(see Harry's posted minutes from yesterday).

    Cheers,
    - Ira McDonald
