Attached is a zip containing some useful files.
- Several examples of short CRs that are currently under construction in
the WS-Management WG. The overhead of the CR format does not appear to
be excessive if the rationale and changes can be expressed succinctly.
(Note: these CRs have not been approved by TC review yet, so they may
yet suffer further revision.)
- Templates to be used to produce CRs. There is an official template
from DMTF ("CRTemplateSample.html") and a short example derived from
that. The example has less to delete in it, and therefore is probably
an easier starting point. The official template describes the intended
contents of the various fields and sections.
Process for editing: make a copy of a template or existing CR. Open the
document with MS Word (version 2003 works; earlier versions probably
work, too). Edit away. Save the document (with File->SaveAs) in "Web
Page, Filtered" format. Done.
Now, if someone else feels like volunteering, . . . .
