    Hi,

My two cents - yes, we should EVENTUALLY consider other MIBs
    - especially MIB-II System and Interfaces groups, on which Printer
MIB depends heavily in practice - but also Finisher MIB, which is
more and more important in evolving MFDs.

But _not_ try to cherry-pick just a few objects.

There's a reasoning flaw in some of our existing Printer MIB
analysis - that _status_ is most important and _configuration_
is less interesting - I strongly doubt that CIM-based interfaces
are EVER going to be very viable for _status_.

The Printer MIB requires much more of MIB-II and HR MIB than
    just three objects.

    Cheers,
    - Ira

We did resume the CIM call after the disruption. The basic conclusion was to
collect more opinions over the next three weeks. However, it was considered
that at least the three HRdevice objects should be added to the list (
    hrDeviceStatus, hrPrinterStatus, hrPrinterDetectedErrorState). There should
be consideration as to whether MIB-II objects should be added.

    Next ConCall is 24 August.
