DESCRIPTION:Is there a consensus on how to proceed with new protocols on 1394.
DISCUSSIONS:
  • One group did it in a semi-closed environment and in a hurry. Currently engaged in modifying proposal.
  • Another group did it open with only a standards approach (no simultaneous implementation).
  • Best approach maybe mixture of both (in open environment and simultaneous implementation).
