A request was made at the meeting last week to include an attribute that
defines the position of a corner staple. It was agreed that this would
be included in the next draft and prior to submission to the IETF.

The following is the proposed text:

         stitchingAngle(32),                    StitchingAngleTypeTC
            INTEGER: Defines enumerations that describe the angular
              orientation of the stitching process relative to the 'X'
              axis.

StitchingAngleTypeTC ::= TEXTUAL-CONVENTION
-- This is a type 2 enumeration.
    STATUS       current
    DESCRIPTION
      "This enumeration provides a description of the angular
       orientation of each stitch in a single or multiple stitching
       operation, relative to the 'X' axis. As with all finishing
       operations, the 'X' axis is always relative to the portrait
       orientation of the document regardless of the orientation of the
       printed image. This enum is primarily applicable to corner
       stitching operations."
    SYNTAX       INTEGER {
         unknown(2),
         horizontal(3),
         vertical(4),
         slanted(5)
        }

Please submit your comments ASAP. The deadline for comments will be
November 24. I will include this change in the document and submit as an
Internet-Draft prior to this deadline, to avoid the submission black-out
due to the IETF meeting.
