IBM is definitely interested in a Job MIB interop test. The 2 month time frame
is OK with us. We would need some time to determine how to test such a dynamic
environment, anyway. One thing I think we might want to do is arrange it as an
interoperability demonstration rather than a full compliance test. In this
context, we would be willing to supply a version of our NT Port monitor using
the Job MIB as a client that would interoperate with anyone's printer. However,
we would emphasize, our client would not be considered a compliance test
tool.

Gee, it's awfully quiet out there. Who expressed interest in an interop
test? Speaking for the Xerox Channels Group, we do not have anything ready
for an interop test in the next couple of months.

Thanks,
Angelo

There has been some interest in a Job Monitoring MIB interoperability
test. Please respond if you have an interest and when will you be ready
to test.
