I just grabbed the latest pdf/is spec and the samples.
latestSample.pdf gives errors about missing endstream and an unknown
op endstr. Both acroread (linux 5.08) and xpdf give the same error.
sample2.pdf also gives that error.
sample.pdf, base.pdf and base-0{2,3}.pdf all give:
Error (0): PDF file is damaged - attempting to reconstruct xref table...
Given the intent to be compatable w/ software that reads pdf 1.4, are
these expected warnings caused by the requirement to be streamable,
or bugs in how the samples were generated?
