Hi Rick,
The draft pointed to in the Last Call note appears to be the same one that
this comment applied to. Has there been a draft more recent than August 5?

Hi Rick,
I looked up the IP section in the latest (August 5) version of PDF/is.
Section 16.1 lists 2 patents ('657 and '092) and has "Xerox" associated with
each. Is this intended to identify Xerox as the patent holder?
Xerox is the patent holder for '657 but not for '092, which is held by
Scansoft. So for Point #3, I don't know if Scansoft, as the patent holder,
"is not currently willing to make the IP freely available," etc. etc. Unless
someone knows otherwise, it's probably best if the draft doesn't say
anything about their unwillingness to do something.

IFXers,
This new version only has a couple of very minor changes.
