[IPP] PWG Last Call: IPP Authentication Methods (Ends 11 May 2019)

Hi Smith,

The link I clicked was from today's meeting announce: https://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/ipp/wd/wd-ippauth-20190304-rev.pdf

And of course, after I said I could not find the unmarked up copy, I realized the link to the unmarked copy was in the document itself: https://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/ipp/wd/wd-ippauth-20190304.pdf

I still see lin 211 "system system", even in the 0328 version.

No other issues.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

[I dropped pwg-announce on this reply.]

The link for the document we are reviewing is:

https://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/ipp/wd/wd-ippauth-20190328.pdf

I just downloaded that and there are no redlines. Is this the URL you are reviewing? I'm not seeing any of the issues you are seeing in this document edition.

Lines 229-230 on page 17 define a section 4 that has no content. Was this supposed to be bullet 2 in section 3.7?

Line 231 has an apparently unnecessary page break, causing most of page 17 to be blank, or is this just a markup view issue? Same for page 20 and 21.

Line 249: "system system"

Note other issues that I can see.

Xerox Approves (do I need to sent that in separate note?

Hi,

[This PWG Last Call starts today, 11 April 2019, and ends Thursday, 11 May 2019 at 10pm US Pacific time.]

This is the formal announcement of the IPP Authentication Methods best practice document, located at:

  https://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/ipp/wd/wd-ippauth-20190328.pdf<https://protect-us.mimecast.com/s/ZVqbC2kr5rfMZzyzSnvHV9?domain=ftp.pwg.org>

The IPP WG has completed extensive review of the various revisions of this document and two IPP WG last calls. The PWG has completed one last
call and all of the comments have been resolved in this new version.

The PWG Process/3.0 requires that a quorum of PWG members (30% or 8 members*) must acknowledge a PWG Last Call (with or without comments), before any document can progress to PWG Formal Vote. This PWG Last Call is NOT a Formal Vote but it DOES require your review acknowledgment. The PWG Definition of the Standards Development Process Version 3.0 is located at:

  https://www.pwg.org/chair/membership_docs/pwg-process30.pdf<https://protect-us.mimecast.com/s/ThT7C31v5vin9zNztqad3u?domain=pwg.org>

* Many thanks to Google for becoming a PWG member!
