All,

So after discussion during today's IPP workgroup conference call, we decided to:

- Add "printer-serial-number (text(255))" as a Printer Status (read-only) attribute.
- Add a separate "printer-asset-tag (octetString(MAX) | no-value)" Printer Description (read-write) attribute to hold any site-specific asset tag/identifier.

We will have a separate discussion about the privacy implications of this and other Printer attributes that could be used as PII.
