We had agreed and it had been represented in recent drafts, that the tie between
hrPrinterDetectedErrorState and hrDeviceStatus would be eliminated. (See page 27
or latest draft for comments). Experience had shown, in several cases with
several vendors, that this definition was not viable, nor was it necessarily
useful.
This change, somehow, is no longer reflected in the latest draft. I request that
this be corrected prior to submission as a draft standard.
