[WIMS] 26 Oct Conference Call - 2PM EDT

Hi Bill,

The question of "why Prototype draft status?" is simply
answered - the intended content is complete and is
labeled "Prototype" (per PWG Process/3.0) to state
that it is *ready* for prototype - a prototype against an
Interim draft is not recognized or useful in PWG Process.

Also, without a Prototype status Model, I can't write an
Initial draft of Power MIB.

I do not intend to add any further technical content to the
Power Model - no new content has been suggested in
several months (except for Jerry Thrasher's comment
last week about available interfaces in a given state and
Nancy Chen's request for default values - both have been
added in the current draft).

Conceivably, Pete Zehler (or someone else) could
prototype Power Model in the PWG SM XML Schema,
but that seems unlikely in the near future.

Cheers,
- Ira
