Which platforms support such a wire protocol shim? I thought Windows/NT
and Windows '95 did, but what about:

Windows 3.1
Windows for Workgroups
OS/2 2.x
OS/2 Warp
others?

Thanks for the Wintel info. We Unix folks have different operational
situations, that's for sure. ;-)
