Hi Ira,

I hadn't thought of that. If 3MF Consortium continues to host their own revisions we can still reference those. But if they withdraw those from being available freely, and instead point users at the ISO standard, then we may have to do that.

Mike, could you reach out to 3MF Consortium about this?

This ISO/IEC joint spec won't ever become freely available.  ISO uses the same system as IEEE does
(w/ exception of IEEE 802 series) - industries have to buy out the copyright.  Remember that IEEE
2600 series cost printer manufacturers $100,000 in 2009 to buy out the copyright - not going to happen
w/ the 3MF spec.

Effectively, 3MF is now off the table to consider adding as a requirement or recommendation in any
PWG spec.
