[Issue Unconfirmed]
Sometimes later models are also released with firmware / mechanisms
identical to those already certified, but with slightly different model
names. There was a mechanism built into the old web-based workflow but it
wasn't formalized in 5100.20. With the new registration method (JSON files
emailed to the ipp at pwg.org reflector) this needs to be documented
somewhere, and 5100.20 is probably the right place to do it.
Get guidance from IPP WG on what that policy should be (i.e. when etc.).
